This process took me about two hours and eleven tries to finally complete my podcast. I began spending about an hour outlining the points I wanted to include by writing out a script and looking at my resources for big data. Once I completed the script, I began recording myself multiple times through Audacity and had to restart or edit all drafts of my podcast to get to the final result with no errors. This process was similar to the first podcast I did, but this time I didn’t focus on my essay as much as the first presentation. It was easier to write out a script rather than using my essay for points, like I had done at first. This also created a different variety of things to talk about within my podcast that was not limited to my essay, I was able to branch out and discuss more that had not been included in my essay. Since I had previously had issues uploading my podcast at first, this time I was able to know how to save it and upload it to e-portfolio in the proper way for others to listen. This process has shown my advancements in this technological application and allowed me to understand more about the process of creating a podcast and the proper way to create a script while including more than just my essay.
Your podcast is organized and includes a lot of information about big data. It includes the naysayer argument along with examples from sources. Your podcast was easy to access and you did a good job including all parts of your big data research. If you use audacity again in the future, you could use the technological features to pause your recording or delete things and re record, which helps avoid recording the entire thing multiple times.
I like how the podcast is clear and does not have any background noises. The audacity fit for this presentation. The only thing was that I had to download it to access it, the link did not work at first. In this podcast, I learned that big data was helpful in the medical field and it can help doctors in many aspects such as prediagnosis, and help doctors work together. I found out that it can help improve treatments which was interesting to me because I was unaware that it could help that. The only suggestion I would make is to make sure that the podcast is posted as a link.
