In today’s activity of peer reviewing two students work as well as having them critique my work was helpful in identifying ways to adjust and improve my essay. While reviewing other students work I was able to notice more ways to include different ideas, different formats, and other techniques I could use. It was a good way to think about my writing as a whole and view other options I could include within my writing in order for my strategies to progress. Having an extra two sets of eyes view my work allows my writing to improve in grammatical errors that I had not notices, as well as receiving more ideas in ways that I can adjust my writing. Using comments to directing highlight some points I can change and adjust is a great tool that allows me to see how another student peer reviewed my paper and how they are able to interpret more ways I can further advance my writing. Once I take into consideration each comment and the other strategies I had noticed within other students work, I will be able to advance my essay to the next level in a way that I previously would not have been able to do. This exercise was a good way to view different strategies as well as the editing of my writing on things I may have not noticed.
