While editing my rough draft in the transition to my final draft, I began by highlighting my quotes with colors pink, blue, and orange. To make sure I integrated my sources enough in my essay, I highlighted the framing of the quote and integration in yellow. This helped me to identify where I needed to add more details, provide better framing, and use transitions. Integrations has previously been an issue within my writing, so this process helped assist me in properly integrating sources. I was able to visualize how well I was using framing and explaining my quotes, and when I needed to add more to the quote for my readers to understand why the quote was important. I had also added in comments to fix, punctuation or selling errors to correct, division of paragraphs, and other comments to fix my essay. This helped me to notice my mistakes so I could go back and adjust my writing.
